Frequently Asked Questions
Labeling can be complicated. Here are some of the questions our customers ask us the most:
-
Many Department of Defense (DoD) contracts for clothing, equipage, and tents require MIL-DTL-32075A Type VI labels
Review your product description for terms including “MIL-DTL-32075” “MIL-DTL-32075A” “Type VI Label” and “Type VI Fabric Label” to know that you need to use an Type VI compliant label.
There are only two known fabrics that can be used for Type VI compliant labels: Reemay and Edgestrate®.
Type VI labels are a specialty, high-durability fabric label made only found in the United States.
Type VI labels have strict performance requirements governing the fabric and ink to ensure the Type VI labels can withstand extreme use, wash, and environmental strain.
Other fabric labels are not likely compliant.
Labels likely represent a very small part of your contract’s value, but they are complex and a frequent reason for rejected deliveries. Let us take the guesswork out of it for you, and deliver a fast and professional solution
